1. MORE RAM CONTRIBUTES MORE PERFORMANCE.

One of the misconception that people have is that more the RAM your phone has faster and fluid it will perform. Well, it is not entirely true. It definitely contributes to the performance but you never really need to have 10GB or 12GB of RAM on your smartphone. Your RAM actually keeps your minimized apps in the background so that you can continue where you left off instead re-doing the task. For example, have you ever seen Apple advertising RAM capacity on iPhones? No, because their phones usually have less RAM as compared to rival Android Phones and still outperforms most of the Android phones. Software optimization, processor, and much more different aspect of your phone are also an important part for good and fast performance and not the RAM capacity entirely.

2. ANTI-VIRUS AND CLEANING APPS ARE NECESSARY FOR THE SAFETY OF YOUR SMARTPHONE.

Somebody have already recommended you to install anti-virus on your smartphone right? What about cleaner apps? Do they really help you clean junk? Well, its safe to say that you really don't need both of these as they will only take up your rest of your space and do nothing. Instead, if you want to clean up files on your phone then delete the cleaner app if you have any and do that manually in the settings which is more effective. Anti-virus has no use as you can depend on the security updates pushed by the manufacturers.

3.Wi-Fi AND BLUETOOTH NEEDS TO BE SWITCHED OFF WHEN NOT IN USE.

Someone will have advised you that you should never leave Wi-Fi and Bluetooth turned on when not in use as it will suck battery. But it is not true. Wi-Fi and bluetooth signals are now so advanced and power efficient that you really don't need to care.

4. DOWNLOADING ANY APPS FROM PLAY STORE OR APP STORE IS SAFE.

Most of the people know it now that apps are not always safe. Even if you install an app from Google Play Store and Apple App Store their is a chance that you might end up installing a malware on your phone. If you keep track of tech world on internet you might know that Google and Apple every year year eliminate thousands of malicious apps from Play Store and App Store.

5. MORE THE MEGAPIXELS ON A CAMERA BETTER THE IMAGES WILL BE.

You have seen brands showing off their phones with 48MP, 64MP and 108MP cameras which they use as their trump card to sell their smartphones as people often tend to believe that more the megapixels better the photos you can capture. That's absolutely wrong. You have seen smartphone with same 48MP camera under ₹15,000 and phones above ₹40,000. Do they perform the same? NO! the expensive phones obviously performs far better as there are more factors which contributes for a good cameras like the image sensors, aperture, quality of lens, image signal processor, post software processing, etc. to name a few.

6. KILLING BACKGROUND APPS MAKES PHONE FASTER.

Most probably, you frequently swipe up and close apps running in the background as you may think it will reduce the load on the processor and will increase the performance eventually. Well, not really. Rather you are increasing the load on your processor as you are asking it to re-perform the same task  once again which is being force shut by you every time you done with it. In simple words you are not doing good with it.

7. CHARGING YOUR PHONES FOR THE WHOLE NIGHT WILL KILL THE BATTERY.

Overcharging your phone beyond 100% battery will never really do anything to your battery. One thing that we forget is why it is called as SMARTphone. Circuits inside your smartphones are advanced and cuts the extra power delivered to it via USB chargers and automatically stop charging when it reaches 100%.
