DXOMARK is an independent company which was established in 2008. They evaluate the performance and review the quality of  cameras, displays, microphone, etc. of smartphones, DSLR, smart and normal wireless speakers and other similar gadgets. They rate the quality by giving each product a particular score based on its performance. So, we today are going to take a look at the top 5 best smartphone cameras which has scored the most on  their list. We will divide the list into two by ranking the smartphones with best rear cameras and selfie cameras separately.

TOP 5 SMARTPHONES WITH BEST REAR CAMERAS:

5. Apple iPhone 12 Pro:

The newly launched iPhone 12 Pro takes the 5th spot with a score of 128. The iPhone 12 Pro supports a triple rear camera setup with additional LiDAR sensor.
The main camera is a 12MP lens and f/1.6 aperture with OIS.
A secondary 12MP f/2.0 telephoto lens which offers 2x optical zoom and 10x digital lens also supports OIS.
And a 12MP f/2.4 ultrawide angle lens which don't support OIS.


4. Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max:

iPhone 12 Pro Max is the most expensive version in the new iPhone 12 lineup and takes the 4th spot with a score of 130. iPhone 12 Pro Max has got slightly better camera setup as compared to iPhone 12 Pro.
Primary is a 12MP shooter with f/1.6 aperture which supports sensor-shift OIS.
Secondary is a 12MP f/2.2 aperture offering 2.5x optical zoom and also supports OIS.
Lastly, a 12MP f/2.4 ultrawide angle lens.
These three sensors are paired with a LiDAR scanner for portrait shots and enhanced AR capabilities.


3. Huawei P40 Pro:

Huawei P40 Pro has the third best camera according to DXOMARK with a score of 132. It has a quad camera array at the rear.
50MP sensor with f/1.9 aperture lens is the primary ones which supports Optical Image Stabilization (OIS).
12MP f/3.4 periscope telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom, also supports OIS.
40MP ultrawide angle lens with f/18  aperture lens.
Lastly, a ToF sensor for portrait shots.


2. Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra:

The Chinese Tech giant Xiaomi's Mi 10 Ultra grabs the second spot by scoring an impressive 133. Mi 10 Ultra also carries a quad camera setup.
The primary being a 48MP snapper with f/1.9 lens supporting OIS. 
Secondary camera is a 48MP f/4.1 periscope telephoto lens which offers 5x optical and 120x digital zoom. It is stabilized optically.
Third is a 12MP telephoto lens offering 2x optically zoom. Has a f/2.0 aperture lens.
And the fourth is a 20MP f/2.2 ultrawide angle lens.


1. Huawei Mate 40 Pro:

Huawei's flagship phone of the year takes the first spot of the list by scoring 136. Mate 40 Pro consists of a triple camera sensors at the rear.
The first lens is a 50MP f/1.9 sensor.
Second is a 12MP f/3.4 periscope telephoto lens offering 5x optical zoom with OIS. 
Third and last a 20MP f/1.8 ultrawide angle lens.

5. Huawei Nova 6 5G:

Huawei Nova 6 5G holds the 5th position by scoring 100 points for its dual selfie cameras.
Main is a 32MP shooter with f/2.0 lens.
Secondary is a 8MP f/2.2 ultrawide angle lens.


4. Samsung S20 Ultra 5G:


The first Samsung smartphone in the list is in the fourth position with a score of 100.
It supports a single 40MP f/2.2 lens.

3. Asus Zenfone 7 Pro:



Asus Zenfone 7 Pro carries the third best best selfie cameras with a score of 101. Well, the Zenfone 7 Pro's rear cameras can be used as its selfie camera due to its flip mechanism. The 7 Pro offers a triple camera setup.
The primary is a 64MP f/1.8 lens with OIS support. 
Secondary is a 8MP f/2.4 telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and OIS. 
Tertiary lens is a 12MP f/2.2 ultrawide lens.

2. Huawei P40 Pro:



Huawei P40 Pro again shows its presence by taking the second spot in the list with a score of 103. The P40 Pro carries a dual camera sensor at the front.
The primary is a 32MP f/2.2 lens.
The second lens is a ToF sensor for depth.

1. Huawei Mate 40 Pro:


Huawei's Mate 40 Pro again tops the list with a score of 104. It also comes with dual cameras similar to P40 Pro,
13MP f/2.4 camera is the main sensor.
ToF 3D sensor is the second lens for depth information.
