Amazon India, after a lot of struggle has now layed Flipkart back as they topped online smartphone selling market platform. According to Counterpoint technology market research, they have currently 47% market share in Q2 2020 followed by Flipkart with 42% market share. With 10% market share, Mi store ranks third. The smartphone market has currently dropped due to the ongoing pandemic. Xiaomi, Samsung and OnePlus smartphones were the top selling out-of-the-bunch on Amazon.

4. RELIANCE IN TALKS WITH BYTEDANCE'S TIKTOK.
According to reports, Reliance Industries Ltd have started discussions with Chinese tech giant, Bytedance, to invest in Tiktok's India operations. Due to the ban, people working behind Tiktok in India are losing their jobs. However, Bytedance is also in talks with Indian Government to resolve security issues. Tiktok is also facing similar issues in US too and is in conversation with Microsoft to sell US operations.
5. REALME TO LAUNCH C12 AND C15 BUDGET SMARTPHONES ON 18TH AUGUST, 2020.
Realme has teased the launch of C12 and C15 smartphones in India. Both the phones will have 6000 mAh battery with Helios G35 processor. Both smartphones will support 6.5 inch display. C12 will offer a triple camera setup whereas C15 will offer quad camera setup at the rear. This Realme series are speculated to price below INR 10,000/- .
