Vivo had dropped Vivo V20 earlier in India. The Vivo V20 SE on the other hand is a special variant which is kind of a lite version of V20. The V20 SE comes in only 1 variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The phone starts in India at a price tag of ₹20,990 which puts it in the hot selling segment. The phone is available in two colour variants Gravity Black and Aquamarine green. The smartphone can be bought from Flipkart and Amazon.
BUILD AND DESIGN:
The Vivo V20 SE has a glossy polycarbonate back panel which looks attractive but will catch fingerprints easily. It has a plastic frame and a AMOLED glass front with a water-drop notch. The back of the phone houses a triple camera setup and vivo branding. It is 7.8 mm thick and 171 gms in weight.
DISPLAY:
The smartphone carries a 6.44 inch FHD+ AMOLED display in 20:9 aspect ratio with 90.12% screen-to-body ratio. It has 409 ppi density. Vivo hasn't specified the type of glass used on the front.
HARDWARE:
This phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 chipset with Adreno 610 GPU. It is an octa-core CPU and is built on 11nm FinFet process. It includes 4 x Kryo 260 Gold cores clocked at 2.0 GHz, 4x Kryo 260 Silver cores clocked at 1.8 GHz.
SOFTWARE:
V20 SE runs on FunTouch OS 11 which runs on Android 10.
CAMERAS:
The V20 SE has a triple camera setup at the rear with a 48MP main camera with f/1.8 aperture, a 8MP ultrawide lens with f2.2 aperture and finally a 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4. It can shoot videos upto 1080@30 fps.
Has a single 32MP f/2.0 selfie camera. Can record videos upto 1080p@30 fps.
BATTERY:
The V20SE packs in a 4100 mAh battery with 33 watt fast charging support and they claim it to charge 62% in just 30 min.
OTHERS:
Vivo V20 SE supports USB Type-c port, 3.5mm headphone jack, in-display fingerprint scanner, FM Radio, mono speaker, dual SIM 4G support, micro SD support upto 1TB, dual band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0 and all other necessary sensors.
