1. SMART HELMETS TO BATTLE COVID-19.
With rise in Corona Virus cases in Mumbai, smart helmets are proving to be an effective weapon to scan and record the temperatures of the people which helps in the detection of suspected Covid patients. It can simultaneously scan temperatures of 200 people per minute. Helmets costs around 6 lakh and were donated to the authorities in Mumbai and Pune.
2. INDIAN RAILWAY TICKETS WILL BE AVAILABLE WITH QR CODE FOR CONTACT-LESS TRAVEL.
As a precaution to ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, Indian Railways are planning to introduce contactless ticketing system at railway stations. The tickets can be verified by scanning the QR code on the ticket. This also applies to platform tickets as well.
3. iPHONE 11 NOW MANUFACTURING IN INDIA.
iPhone 11, one of the most popular and sold iPhone globally, has started manufacturing in India. Reports suggests that Apple has kick-started its Foxconn plant in Chennai which seems to be major boost to Indian Government's Make-In-India initiative. Apple is also planning to manufacture iPhone SE 2020 at the Wistron plant near Bengaluru. Also reports suggests that Apple will save 22% import duty when manufacturing iPhones in India.

5. INDIA MARKS 3RD IN CYBER ATTACKS, SAYS REPORTS.
In the fourteen years period between May 2006 and June 2020, India reportedly fell victim to 23 cyber attacks, latest of which came this last month. This data is as per US based think tank, Centre for Strategic and International Studios (CSIS). As per the data, US tops the list experiencing the most number of significant cyber attacks followed by UK.
6. INDIANS ARE NOW PREFERRING "WORK FROM HOME" JOBS.
According to the researchers, due to the corona virus pandemic, work from home jobs are preferred. Research suggests that 74% of Indians think that they can do better jobs if they have better technological skills. This has led to more preference on work from home jobs.
7. SONY'S NEW VLOGGING CAMERA ZV-1 LAUNCHING IN INDIA ON AUGUST 6.
Sony has refreshed its camera lineup with their all new ZV-1 model. This camera is more focused towards vlogging and content creators.
