Realme, the fastest growing Chinese smartphone brand, launches smartphones at every single price tag. Within a few years, Realme has gained high popularity among all types of users. Since their debut, they are more focused to launch value-for-money smartphone and today they have came up with new smartphone named as 'Realme 6i" which is a budget smartphone.
DESIGN:
Realme 6i has glossy polycarbonate back panel with plastic frame and features a punch-hole notch at the front. The front is protected by Corning's Gorilla Glass 3. It comes with side mounted fingerprint scanner i.e. the power button doubles-up as fingerprint scanner.
SCREEN:
It supports 6.5 inch FHD+ IPS LCD display with 90HZ refresh rate. This is the cheapest phone with 90Hz display. Display is protected by Corning's Gorilla Glass 3.PROCESSOR:
This smartphone is powered by Mediatek G90T processor which they market it as the fastest in the segment. It is based on 12nm FinFet process (Less the FinFet process, more battery efficient the phone is). It has Mali-G76 MC4 GPU and is octa-core chipset.SOFTWARE:
Realme 6i runs on Realme UI on top of Android 10.
CAMERAS:
This budget phone carries total of 5 cameras. At the rear, 48MP (F/1.8) is the main camera, 8MP (F/2.3) is the wide angle lens, 2MP (F/2.4) depth black and white sensor and 2MP (F/2.4) macro lens. Front camera is 16MP (F/2.0) shooter. 48MP shooter can shoot videos upto 4K@30fps and 16MP snapper can shoot video upto 1080p@30fps.
BATTERY:
Realme 6i has 4300maH non-removable battery and supports 30W fast charging but only 20W charger is available out-of-the-box.
PORTS:
The phone has USB type-C port at the bottom and features a headphone jack and a mono speaker at the bottom. It also has a dedicated SIM card slot which supports 2 SIM and a SD card simultaneously.
SENSORS:
It features all necessary sensors like:-
- Accelerometer, fingerprint, gyroscope, compass, proximity sensor, etc.
- Dual band Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi direct, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac.
- Bluetooth 5.1
- A-GPS, GLONASS, BDS.
OTHERS:
Realme 6i comes in two models: 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM (INR 12,999/-) and 6GB RAM + 64GB ROM (INR 14,999/-) supporting LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.1 storage. Comes in two color options: Lunar White and Eclipse Black. The base variant of the phone looks value-for-money but not the higher-end variant.
