1. INDIAN ARMY PERSONNEL ORDERED TO DELETE 89 APPS FROM THEIR PHONES.

After the ban of 59 Chinese apps by Indian Government, Indian Army has now taken a strict step. They have been ordered to remove 89 apps in addition to the 59 banned apps which includes popular apps like Facebook, Instagram, PUBG, Truecaller, Zoom, etc. as a preventive measure to stop the leakage of sensitive data.




2. SAMSUNG REPORTEDLY WORKING ON A PHONE WITH 6800mAh BATTERY.

Samsung's 'M' - Series phones are very popular in India and are currently shipping with 6000mAh battery. Samsung is already one step ahead from other manufacturers but they doesn't seem to stop here. They have taken another step ahead and is reportedly going to launch a new 'M' - Series phone with 7000mAh battery. 



3. XIAOMI TEMPORARILY DISABLES 'Mi COMMUNITY' IN INDIA.

Xiaomi has one of the biggest community in India which they call as 'Mi Community'. They connect with their community from Mi Community website and app. Unfortunately, Mi Community app was banned in India along with other 58 apps. Hence Xiaomi has now released a statement to temporarily disable their Mi Community app in India.




4. 5G NETWORK WILL NOW BE AVAILABLE IN BUDGET DEVICES.

Global pandemic has further delayed the implementation of 5G in India and is estimated to be available within 2-3 years. But this delay hasn't stopped manufacturers to launch 5G smartphones in India which is now only available in Flagship devices. Now reports suggests that Mediatek will be launching Dimensity 600 series chipsets which will bring 5G support to budget devices.



5. CHARGERS MAY NOT SHIP WITH FUTURE SAMSUNG DEVICES: SAYS REPORTS.

Few days ago, there were reports that Apple will omit shipping chargers and earphones with their upcoming smartphones. Similarly, Samsung is now rumored to do the same thing with future S-series flagship smartphones. Doing this will decrease a large amount of e-waste as yearly 300,000 tons of chargers are collected globally as e-waste.



6. DELL LAUNCHED NEW "XPS 13 AND XPS 15" IN INDIA.

Dell refreshed its XPS series of laptops by introducing Dell XPS 13 9300 and Dell XPS 15 9500 in India. Price starts at ₹1,44,807/- for the base model of XPS 13 and ₹1,86,072 for XPS 15. 7. WORLD'S FIRST SMART MASK.

Japanese Robotics startup, Donut Robotics, has showcased new smart mast which can get connected to your smartphone. Apart from saving you from viruses, this has features like translating Japanese language to 8 different languages via its app, making phone calls and even control the volume of your voice.


8. MICROSOFT AND BRIDGESTONE TO DEVELOP WORLD'S FIRST TYRE DAMAGE MONITORING SYSTEM.

Microsoft teamed up with Bridgestone to develop World's first Real time Tyre Damage Monitoring System (TDMS) to prevent technical failure thereby reducing accidents. This new technology aims to increase road safety by analyzing the conditions of the tyres. The software can show exact area in which the tyre was damaged. TDMS will be connected to Microsft's Connected Vehicle Platform (MCVP) to take and analyze sensor data of the car.
