Micromax went silent for a lot of time since the invasion of Chinese smartphone manufacturers in the Indian smartphone market. When the anti-China sentiment rose in India, Micromax took a chance and announced that they are going to make a comeback with new smartphone lineup. After a long wait they have finally revealed the smartphones under the tag "IN" known as IN Note 1 and IN 1B. Both the phones will be available on Flipkart with a starting price of ₹6,999 for the IN 1B and ₹10,999 for IN Note 1. Note 1 will go on sale on 24th November whereas the 1B will be available to buy on 26th November.
BUILD AND DESIGN:
IN 1B and Note 1 both are made polycarbonate and has similar design. 1B has a dual tone matt finish whereas the Note 1 has a glossy design which depends on the colour. 1B has dual camera setup and the speaker grill and quad camera for the Note 1 along with the fingerprint scanner at the rear on both the smartphones.
SCREEN:
IN Note1 has a 6.67 inch FHD+ IPS LCD display with punch-hole camera cutout at the center while 1B has a 6.52 inch HD+ IPS LCD display with water-drop notch design. As of now they haven't mentioned the type of glass used for the display.
HARDWARE:
1B is powered by Mediatek Helios G35 chipset and the Note 1 is powered by Mediatek Helios G85 processor. Both the CPUs are octa-cored. G85 has 2 Cortex A-75 cores and six Cortex A-55 cores and Mali G52 GPU. While G35 has eight Cortex A-53 cores and an IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU.
SOFTWARE:
Both the smartphones ship with clean stock Android 10 without any bloatware or ads in-built.
BATTERY:
Both 1B and Note 1 have a huge 5000mAh battery. Note has 18 watt fast charging support out-of-the-box.
CAMERAS:
1B has a dual camera setup with 13MP f/1.8 primary lens and 2MP depth sensors, 8MP selfie camera as well. Note 1 has a quad array of cameras with main 48MP sensors, a 5MP ultrawide angle lens, two 2MP depth and macro lenses. It also carries a 16MP selfie camera on the punch-hole.
OTHERS:
Both the smartphones have 4G Volte, a 3.5mm headphone jack, dual SIM support, USB Type-C port, Bluetooth 5.0, FM radio, and all other necessary sensors.
Micromax IN 1b comes in 2 RAM and storage options ( 2GB+32GB, 4GB+64GB ) and 3 colour variants ( Blue, Green, Violet ).
Micromax IN Note 1 comes in 2 RAM and storage variants ( 4GB+64GB, 4GB+128GB ) and 2 colour options ( Green and White ).
