This time it happened in India with a 61 year old man R. Ranjhan who was suffering from irregular heartbeats. He was using an Apple Watch series 5 which was gifted to him by his son. In the middle of a night he was getting irregular heartbeat signals via the Watch. After consulting a doctor he came to know that he needed a heart surgery. He went through a successful surgery and his life was saved by the Apple Watch.

OnePlus, this month, had introduced their new OnePlus 8T globally even in India. The OnePlus 8T went on sale in China on 19th October. OnePlus 8T is priced starting at 3,999 Yuan in China ( ₹42,999 in India). In just one min they sold OnePlus 8T units worth 100 million Yuan in China ( around ₹103 crores ) which rose to whopping 200 million Yuan ( around ₹213 crores ) in just next 10 min. With this numbers, they have earned a record-breaking amount in their home country. They sold more than 90,000 units approximately when estimated.
3. INDIAN SMARTPHONE SALES HITS A RECORD IN Q3 2020.
According to a report from Canalys, the Indian smartphone market hits a record high in sales in Q3 2020. 50 million (5 crore) smartphone units were shipped in India during Q3 2020. Report says that smartphone shipments have 8% growth when compared to last year. The smartphone market has received huge jump from 50% decline in the previous quarter due to the Covid-19 pandemic and lockdown.
4. JIO AND QUALCOMM BEGINS 5G TRIALS IN INDIA.
Reliance Jio had announced in their AGM that they have developed 5G equipment from scratch and will bring 5G in India as soon as possible. Jio has taken it's first step by partnering with Qualcomm and begins 5G trials in India. In this trials, they were able to achieve 1Gbps sped milestone. They also stated in their AGM that they start testing 5G widely when 5G spectrum allocations are done in the country and will roll out 5G in the masses.
5. NETFLIX TO OFFER TWO DAY FREE UNLIMITED ACCESS TO EVERYONE IN INDIA.
Netflix is now experimenting in India with a new promotional offer for later this year. They are offering everything in their library for free. People in India can watch whatever they want to watch in those weekend. This service will be available from December 4th, 2020 Friday and will be live for 48 hours.
