 1. FLIPKART BIG BILLION DAYS SALE 2020 DATE ANNOUNCED.

Flipkart's biggest annual sale "Big Billion Sale" date has been announced. They have announced deals and offers on mobiles, TVs, home appliance, toys, home decoration, electronics, clothing, accessories, beauty products, baby care products, furniture, grocery, etc. According to press release Flipkart Plus members will get priority access from October 15, 2020 and others can access the sale form 16th October, 2020 . They have partnered with SBI and will offer 10% instant discount on SBI credit and debit cards. Flipkart CEO Krishnamurthy said,The Big Billion Days stands for a celebration of brands, an assortment of collections never seen before, a spirit of festivity and joy, and a feeling of immense excitement as everyone embarks on their festive season preparations ". The sale will end on October 21, 2020.







2. NVIDIA GeFORCE RTX 3070 LAUNCH DELAYED.

Nvidia last month had launched new RTX 3000 series with all of that power at an attractive price. You can read about the same here. Well, out of the three RTX 3070 was supposed to launch on October 15th. But fans have to wait a while for the same and is delayed to October 29th. Reason for delaying the availability of RTX 3070 was mentioned on their official blog post and it said," Production of GeForce RTX 3070 graphics cards are ramping quickly. We’ve heard from many of you that there should be more cards available on launch day. To help make that happen, we are updating the availability date to Thursday, October 29th". The Founder's Edition of RTX 3070 is priced at ₹51,000.






3. SMARTPHONE PRICES MIGHT RISE UP BY 1.5-5%.

Earlier this year, due to global pandemic and GST hike, smartphone prices got increased. Now once again smartphone rates are expected to go up as Government of India has imposed 10% import duty on display panels according to the sources. This will lead to increase in smartphone prices by 1.5-5% . India Cellular and Electronics Association (ICEA) National chairman, Pankaj Mohindroo said “In a rare miss, the industry could not ramp up display assembly production adequately because of Covid and NGT embargo. We continue to be fully committed to domestic manufacturing of sub-assemblies and components. However, now, the focus is to take a lion’s share of global markets and not just import substitution” . According to the reports,  SamsungApple, Vivo, Xiaomi, Oppo and RealMe, might hike their prices at some stage going forward.  





4. FACEBOOK LAUNCHES MESSENGER-INSTAGRAM INEGRATION.

Facebook in their official blog post the company had announced the integration on both Facebook and Instagram app. Now due to this integration Facebook users can contact Insta users from Facebook app itself. They have also said that the update is not mandatory and users don't need to update the app unless they want use the feature. They have also revealed new features for Instagram
which includes Watch together where you can watch trending videos with friends on IGTV via video call, Vanish Mode similar to expiring message on Whatsapp. According to the sources Facebook is working on integrating all three Facebook-Instagram-WhatsApp through which people don't have to download each separately to use. 






5. TESLA TO ENTER INDIA NEXT YEAR.

There is no doubt that Elon Musk's Tesla have become one of the top sellers of electric cars in several countries and now according to the company's CEO Elon Musk, Tesla may finally enter India by next year. Elon Musk hinted his plans through Twitter. The Tesla Club India tweeted pictures of two tees with "India Wants Tesla" and "India Loves Tesla" to Elon Musk earlier this week and also asking the CEO about Tesla's progress for entry in India. To this tweet, Elon Musk replied "Next Year for sure". If this turns out to be true, then India will be the second Asian market after China to have Tesla’s presence.

1. Google Pixel 4A is going to launch in India on October 17, 2020. Google also tweeted that Pixel 4A will be available for purchase on Flipkart whereas Pixel 5 and Pixel 4A 5G might not launch in India.

2. Upcoming smartphones include Poco C3, Motorola Razr 5G, Realme 7i, Samsung F41, Vivo V20, OnePlus 8T and iPhone 12 series will be launched in India this month. You can grab these phones on Flipkart and Amazon.

3.  Google, in their previous event, introduced Google Pixel 5, Pixel 4A 5G and new Chromecast. This new Chromecast accompanies with new remote control and custom Google TV interface which replaced Google Play Movies and TV. It is rumored to launch in India soon.

4. Google Meet unlimited calls for conference meeting extended until March 2021 for free users. Earlier it was only available till October 31, 2020. 

5. Samsung launches new Galaxy Tab A7 at ₹17,999/- in India. Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 662, this mid-range tablet has 10.4 inch 2000 x 1200 resolution display with quad-speakers setup. Comes with 3GB + 32GB storage and 8MP rear cam with 5MP front cam. Device is juiced by 7040mAh battery with adaptive fast charging.
