Samsung Galaxy F41 launched: everything you need to know.

 Samsung has introduced their new F series smartphones in India and Galaxy F41 being the first in the series. Samsung is targeting the F41 at the millennial or the youth generation. Galaxy F41  starts at ₹16,999 for 6GB RAM and 64GB storage model and ₹17,999 for 6GB + 128GB model. Launch offers include ₹1,500 discount during festive season which brings the effective prices to ₹15,499 and ₹16,499 respectively. It will also have instant 10% discount on SBI debit or credit cards. 


DESIGN:

The smartphone has a polycarbonate back and is similar to the lights of Galaxy M series smartphone. The phone is 8.9mm thick and weighs 191 gms. Fingerprint scanner is located at the back along with the triple camera setup. On the front it has a water-drop style notch. The phone is offered in three colours Fusion Black, Fusion Blue, Fusion Green.





SCREEN:

It packs in a 6.4 inch FHD+ sAmoled display with water-drop style notch in 19.5:9 aspect ratio and has 84.1% screen to body ratio. The phone is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Also has 420 nits of brightness and 403 ppi (pixel per inch) density.

HARDWARE:

Galaxy F41 is powered by Samsung's own Exynos 9611 which is widely used in their smartphone from quiet some time. Has Mali-G72 MP3 GPU. 9611 is an octa-core processor and is made on 10nm fabrication process. It is made by 4x Cortex-A73 cores clocked at 2.3 GHz and 4x Cortex A53 clocked at 1.7 GHz. 




SOFTWARE:

It runs on OneUI core 2.1 over Android 10.

CAMERAS:

It houses a triple camera setup at the back with primary being a 64MP camera with f/1.8 aperture, second being a 8MP ultrawide angle lens with 123° field-of-view and f/2.2 aperture and finally a 5MP f/2.4 lens for depth (portrait shots).Selfie camera is of 32MP with f/2.0 aperture. Both front and back cameras support HDR, Panorama and video recordings from 1080p@30 fps upto 4k@30 fps.





BATTERY:

Galaxy F41 packs in a 6000mAh battery with 15 watt fast charging support and is the most highlighted feature of the smartphone. It can easily last upto 2 days with normal to heavy usage in single charge.

OTHERS:

The phone supports LPDDR4X RAM and UFS2.1 storage type. Has a single speaker at the bottom with 3.5mm headphone jack. Supports dual band Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth 5.0, FM radio, and all other necessary sensors.
